The Twitter / X Thread Formula That Gets Saved
Threads that get bookmarked grow your following 10x faster than threads that just get likes.
Hook in one sentence
The first tweet must promise specific, transferable value. 'I rewrote my SaaS landing page and conversion jumped 40%. Here's the exact framework I used:' is a hook.
Vague hooks get scrolled past. Specific numbers and outcomes stop the scroll.
One idea per tweet
Each tweet in the thread should make exactly one point. Readers can quote individual tweets, which spreads the thread further than retweets do.
If a tweet has two ideas, split it into two tweets.
Close with a save-worthy summary
The last tweet should be a list, framework, or checklist that captures the whole thread. This is what gets bookmarked.
Bookmark count is a stronger growth signal than likes on X.
